We went on a road trip planning to go 5 places but only getting to 3 of them. The first one was the Plymouth Barbican which we walked around and I wanted to go to the aquarium and buy a little monkey but I got none– poooooooooor me. We walked to the Hoe, a park where Sir Frances Drake played bowls waiting for the French to attack .

The next place was a beach town. We caught a small boat across the river and the Skipper let me park it! Then we walked down to the sea stopping at shops on the way. At the beach we dipped our feet in the water. On the way back I popped in a shop and bought a Lego English guard and a present for Amy – I won’t tell you what it is in case she reads this. Then we decided to stay longer, bought a spade and built a castle. On the way back to the car we met some people crabbing and I had a go but didn’t catch anything.

The next place was a nice little fishing village and on its stoney beach there was a cool cave! Today was an awesome day!
