Today after school we went to the flight museum. After our bus trip there we went to buy our tickets and there was an awesome toy soldier but I didn’t get to get it. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The main reason Dad dragged us along to this museum was to see the Concorde aeroplane. The Concorde could go faster than the speed of sound even though it was built 30 years ago! It was a real passenger plane; the people who flew in it were rock stars, MP’s, the queen and all rich and famous people. Then disaster struck two days after I was born when a Concorde crashed in Paris. The Concorde I saw at the museum has been grounded ever since. One amazing plane.

We also went to several other hangers. One had military planes and the other had normal civilian planes.

There was also a hands on area where we spent a lot of time and had a lot of fun. I spent most of the time at the ‘make your own paper aeroplane’ place.

The whole thing was really fun.
