Our second week finished with us having had a really lovely week, peaceful (during the day at least!) and fun. Here are some of the highlights:
- the apartment! It was so charming, and the view was fantastic. The kids loved having their own bedrooms, Amy called hers the Princess room. It was really tastefully decorated and had a great balcony overlooking the marina to eat our meals at.
- I loved all the different types if teas too, very fancy!
- Meeting Alex and Ruth, and their children, Zac and Lila. Daniel and Amy were talking one day about wanting a friend to come round for a play, and that afternoon we met Alex and Ruth and they did come round so the kids could play! Talk about an answer to prayer! Even better was that they invited us around for dinner another night!
- Meeting Clara and Ramon. We met Clara to pick up the keys, then Ramon and their boys on at the end of the trip. What lovely people! The kids had a great time playing and eating icecream!
- Going to Ronda was a highlight too. What a great place, we all really enjoyed it.
- Amy loved going for a ride on the double decker bus at Gibralter. What else can I say, it rained and it was crowded..
- going out for tea to the Chinese restaurant was a lot of fun, the food was great – we even took some home there was so much
- Playing basket ball together was great fun and just walking around was good too
- Visiting the butterfly house – it was really pretty, and the butterflies were superb.
- Going to the Sunday market where lots of people sell second hand goods as well as new stuff. Amy got a wrap round dancing skirt.
